“Having spent the last three years as a Menopause Wellbeing Ambassador, I recognize and relate to the health and mental challenges many women are facing when they reach a pivotal stage in their hormonal journey. Mental health challenges can affect any individual at any point in their life, not just women going through the menopause. I know from experience how powerful walking and talking can be in navigating these challenges so have volunteered with Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health to help build a community of like minded people”

Hi, I’m Jude – a passionate mental health advocate, Founder and CEO of Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health, and a voice for change in how we talk about mental health. The charity was built on a simple but powerful idea: that conversation and connection can change lives. Drawing on my lived experience of mental health challenges, I’ve turned personal adversity into a driving force for change, breaking down stigma and creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Motivated by a diverse background in psychology, art psychotherapy, teaching, training, and life experience, I bring an eclectic mix of skills to my work. Living with dyslexia and dyspraxia has shaped me, but also revealed hidden strengths – resilience, creativity, and a different way of seeing the world.

As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Thrive Instructor Partner, and advocate for neurodiversity in the workplace, I combine professional expertise with authenticity and openness. My work spans from grassroots walks that bring communities together, to training sessions and talks that inspire people to rethink mental health, inclusion, and resilience.

Above all, I’m passionate about helping others find their voice, embrace difference, and take small steps that lead to big change.

Hello,

I am a Trustee for Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health. I enjoy getting involved with the walks.

I am a Mental Health First-Aider, having completed the course a few years ago with Jude Price as our instructor.

When Jude approached me with her idea of a Walk N Talk charity, I jumped at the chance to get involved.

During the first COVID-19 lockdown, I’d realised how much going for walks really helped my own mental health and well-being, and was keen to help others.

Having had a family members and staff members who struggled with their mental health, because of various life events and physical health issues, I feel that having something to plug that gap between doing nothing and getting professional help is going to be vital to improving the mental health of the whole nation.
